BRITTANY BARES

LSW, B.Ed, CYT

Brittany is a licensed social worker and certified yoga teacher, who has an endless curiosity for adventuring out and exploring within. For the past 6 years, she has lived between Costa Rica and various parts of the United States. This innate passion to live nomadically inspired her to create this platform, where she can interact with like-minded folks & share the gifts she has received over the years. With professional backgrounds in education & social work, coupled with her extensive practices in yoga & meditation, Brittany provides clear & accessible classes: however, & wherever, clients show up. At her core, she believes that harmony is created when we connect to and live out our deepest truths. Brittany has been practicing yoga for 12 years and teaching for 7. She is currently working as a group therapist for Compass Health Center, a virtual IOP/PHP program. She looks forward to learning with you and supporting you on your own mindful voyage.

Offerings:

Traditional 1:1 coaching session: ($90/hr)

Group Classes & Workshops: contact for pricing.

What to Expect:

Brittany offers 1-on-1 coaching sessions where you are able to receive direct support in whatever area of life is feeling the most… sticky. A lot of the people who work with her are dealing with life transitions that can be very difficult to navigate alone. Interpersonal relationship challenges, feelings stuck or lost, and being in need of extra support or guidance to navigate through a particular time in life are but a few challenges that Brittany has helped previous clients move through. As a foundational practice she takes your specific needs and preferences into deep consideration when you begin your 1-on-1 journey. She can incorporate physical, emotional, mental and or spiritual tools into your sessions depending on what is most supportive to you in this moment.

In her trauma informed yoga classes students will experience clear and simple cueing intended to create space to connect with the body and develop present moment awareness. Movements are slow and precise so you have time to experience what is happening in both the mind and body. Brittany’s classes are geared towards all levels of practitioners.

While workshops are custom made to fit your group’s needs, they always include mindfulness practices, trauma-informed relationship building, and a safe container.

Kayley Scaffidi

BSN, RN, NC-BC

Kayley (Kayls) is an ICU travel nurse, a Board Certified Integrative Nurse Coach and a meditation teacher with a passion for the outdoors and holistic health. Kayley has been a nurse for almost 11 years and has been working as a travel nurse since 2016. An adventurous spirit, she loves exploring mindful movement as she climbs mountains and how mindfulness/meditation have helped with her anxiety, chronic pain and compassion fatigue.

In 2018, meditation became a more important part of her routine. She realized the power that the mind has over the body and slowly but surely with daily meditation, she saw her life change when she was at one of her lowest points— which inspired her to teach. Although she teaches a variety of meditation techniques, she is also a certified meditation instructor in the 1 Giant Mind Being Technique. (See our 3-Day Learn To Meditate Course)

Kayls has been nomadic for almost 7 years and has learned how important it is to love the company you keep when you are alone, and to nourish the home we build within our mind, body, and soul. She pours her heart into genuine connection; be it with others, with nature, with herself or with clients. A curious mind, she believes the world and the outdoors will always be the best teacher and thrives on the connections she has cultivated.

What is an Integrative Nurse coach and what to expect: “A Board Certified Integrative Nurse Coach promotes and facilities the growth, healing and the well-being of the whole person using coaching principles, and healing modalities that integrate the body-mind-spirit-and environment. We can integrate these skills into any setting and specialty area in and outside of the medical setting. Our focus is on building a relationship, and partnering with our clients in a thought-provoking and creative process to empower them to meet their personal and professional potential” (American Holistic Nurses Association). A nurse coach can work with anyone —not just nurses— and on anything, it doesn’t have to medical, but it can be!

In my sessions I draw upon my many years of nursing experience, caring for others, (and medical knowledge if needed) to partner with my clients, build upon their strengths, and unlock their potential for wellness—whatever that means to them. Together, we get centered and work towards their goals in a way that feels genuine and aligned.
